Dylan Fluter and Cody Pettapiece scored 18 seconds apart early in the second period. From there, Matt Hrynkiw did his best to hold the fort, and the Humboldt Broncos held off the Flin Flon Bombers for a 2-1 win. Fluter finished the night with a goal and an assist.
Konrad Litke scored with just over 6 minutes left in regulation, drawing the Bombers to within one.
It was the second 2-1 loss on the road for the Bombers in as many nights, as they suffered the same fate Tuesday in North Battleford.
Goaltender Devin Buffalo made 36/38 saves on Wednesday, 69/73 saves the last two nights, good for a save percentage of .945, but an 0-2 record.
