The Weyburn Red Wings were looking to bounce back after losses in Battlefords and Kindersley on Friday and Saturday, and were hoping to slow down the Humboldt Broncos in Sunday's lone game on the schedule.
The Wings were up 4-1 midway through the second period, before the Broncos stormed back with four straight and a 5-4 win in regulation, and their sixh straight victory.
Cody Pongracz (2g-1a) tied it with 7:19 to play, and won it with 3:03 on the clock. Joey Davies had three assists, while Carter Page, Ryan Aubertin and John Lawrence also scored.
Miguel Pereira had two goals and an assist for the Red Wings. Jackson Schneider added three helpers, and Thomas Carleton and Ryan Ostertag both found the net.
Schneider has points in five of his last six games (3g-5a-8p), and in January has 3g-3a-6p in four games.
The Broncos now move two points up on Flin Flon for first place in the North, still with two games in hand.
