Ice Wolves' Struggles Continue

Colby Daniels scored twice, including his 20th of the year, as the Kindersley Klippers downed the La Ronge Ice Wolves 5-2, in Wednesday's lone game on the schedule.

Stefan Seel (1g-1a), Bradley Buckingham and Jared Pilet did the rest of the scoring, while Beau Stewart chipped in with a pair of helpers.  Tyrell King made 37/39 saves to secure the win, which lifts the Klippers back into 4th place in the Sherwood, one point up on Estevan.

Owen LaClare and Jessey Touchette both scored unassisted markers for the Ice Wolves.  La Ronge still sits just one point out of a playoff spot after their 8th straight loss, but are running out of games, with just five to play.  Melfort, the team they're chasing, has three games in hand.

Thursday's schedule also has a single game, with Nipawin in Estevan for the Game Of The Week.
