The Zawatsky family tree has another generation in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League. Alec made his Hounds debut during the Showcase in Saskatoon, and what an impact he’s made in a short time, racking up 5-goals and 10-points through his first five games. Zawatsky is back in the province he grew up in after spending last season in the BCHL with Cowichan Valley. His father, Ed, was a long time player and Coach/GM with the Yorkton Terriers, capturing back to back league titles as Coach in 2005 and 2006, competing in the RBC Cup Final in 2006.
