Bombers’ Cormier commits to Red Deer Polytechnic (ACAC)

The Flin Flon Bombers are excited to announce that graduating forward Carter Cormier will continue his hockey career at Red Deer Polytechnic of the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC).

The speedy left-winger from Kindersley, Saskatchewan signed with the Bombers after playing with the BCHL’s Blackfalds Bulldogs. In 50 games with the Bombers, Cormier produced 20 goals and 17 assists for 37 points. Carter’s 8 power play goals was tied for first among all Bomber players. In 12 playoff games this spring, Carter chipped in with 2 goals and 2 assists.

The Red Deer Polytechnic Kings recently won the ACAC Championship for the second season in a row. Former Bombers Chase and Easton Haygarth have spent the last four seasons with the Kings program. 16 former SJHL players were on this years roster.
