The Flin Flon Bombers, proud members of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL), are pleased to announce that forward Jaeden Mercier has committed to play NCAA Division I hockey for the Lindenwood University Lions.
The product of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan currently has 18 points (4 G, 14 A) in 13 games this season, which is tied for second overall in SJHL scoring. Mercier had a breakout season last year putting up 44 points (18 G, 26 A) in 39 regular season games while also posting 7 goals and 7 assists during the 2022 SJHL playoffs. Jaeden’s 6 points (2 G, 4 A) in 5 games at the Centennial Cup was a team high.

Located in St. Charles, Missouri, Lindenwood University’s Men’s hockey program is currently competing in it’s inaugural season at the NCAA Division I level. The program had won four national championships at the ACHA Division I level prior to it’s promotion to varsity status.
Former Bombers forward Drew Kuzma is currently in his first season at Lindenwood.
