Flin Flon Bomber bench boss Mike Reagan has reached his 600th career SJHL win. It is an amazing milestone that puts Reags in the upper echelon of SJHL HC/GMs in league history. Mike places himself amongst the very best, with the likes of Dwight McMillan, Dean Brockman and Jamie Fiesel. Mike Reagan joined the organization, slated to be the assistant coach during the ’07-08 season. But under strange circumstances, Mike found himself as the man in charge, and he never looked back. Mike has accumulated a record of 600-333-49-35 over his 19+ seasons at work.
Mike has put in countless hours of bus rides, numerous scouting assignments, over 1000 games coached, he has went on and coached at the International level with Team Canada West, coached at the Centennial cup, and has brought the Maroon and White to the cusp of their first championship in over 30 years. Mike has dedicated himself to bringing home a SJHL championship back to Flin Flon.
President of the Flin Flon Bombers Tim Babcock has this to say following this amazing accomplishment
“Mike Reagan’s extraordinary accomplishment represents the pinnacle of sustained excellence in junior hockey. These milestones have elevated the Bombers to consistent contenders, developed numerous players for higher levels including NCAA Division I, and embodied the pride, stability and legacy that define our organization. Mike is truly a Bomber for life and his dedication continues to inspire everyone associated with the club.”
Mikes mom, Maureen also commented “As a proud mom, I have watched Mike pour his heart and soul into the Flin Flon Junior Bombers. Hockey isn’t something he coaches- it’s who he is. His dedication, long hours and unwavering passion for the maroon and white reflect the pride he carries for his team and community. He leads with integrity, determination, and a genuine belief in his players, both on and off the ice. Seeing the impact he has on these athletes fills me with tremendous pride every single day.”
On behalf of everyone involved with the Flin Flon Junior Bombers, we would like to congratulate Mike Reagan on this achievement and thank him for his years of dedication to the team and community!
