The Flin Flon Bombers are excited to announce the hiring of new Assistant Coach, Tyler Szturm to the team!!
Tyler is originally from Thunder Bay, Ontario. He has played Division 1 hockey in the ACHA in Grand Rapids Michigan and spent last year playing in Iceland.
He spent most of his Junior career in Saskatchewan having played for the Estevan Bruins and also with Pilot Butte.
This year Tyler decided to start his coaching career. He always wanted to play at the Whitney Forum but never got the chance. I asked him about what it meant to be joining the Bombers and he had this to say.
“Getting the chance to join such a historic franchise is a great opportunity and something I didn’t want to pass up. I hope to be able to share my experience with the players and try to help the team in their pursuit of an SJHL Championship. I look forward to meeting everyone in the community and I can’t wait to be at the Whitney Forum and be on the Bombers bench.”
