Bombers’ Laser-Hume commits to MRU

The Flin Flon Bombers are excited to announce that ’03 Bomber Goalie, Harmon Laser-Hume, has committed to extend his hockey and academic career at Mount Royal University in Calgary, Alberta
(U Sports).

The Creston, BC product joined the Bombers at the beginning of the 2022/23 season after being traded to Flin Flon from the Nipawin Hawks. In his first season, Laser-Hume made his presence known quickly, being named the starter, he had 28 wins in 44 games while maintaining a 2.57 GAA and .913 SV%  during his fist campaign. He was also named the Bombers Playoff MVP. This past year, Laser-Hume was a big part of the Bombers success during their historic 44-9-2-1 season. In 38 games, Laser-Hume grabbed 28 wins and 3 shutouts while maintaining a 2.20 GAA and  .930 SV%, along with being awarded the SJHL Goalie of Year and being named a Finalist for CJHL Goalie of the Year. Overall, during his time with the Bombers, Laser-Hume had 56 wins in 82 games with a 2.39 GAA and .920 SV%, along with two trips to the SJHL Finals.

The Mount Royal Cougars finished off this past season with a 26-12-0 record and finished tied for 2nd place in their conference at the end of the regular season.
