There were 71 shots on goal between the two teams in Game 3 between Humboldt and Flin Flon, and only one went in, and it was the Flin Flon Bombers picking up their seventh straight win, and third straight of this series, edging the Humboldt Broncos 1-0 to grab a 3-0 stranglehold against the second seeded Broncos.
Cal Schell stopped all 33 shots he faced for the shutout, while Rayce Ramsay was terrific on the other end, making 37/38 saves.
Matt Raymond scored the game’s only goal and it came 14:09 into the first period. The Bombers have a chance to join the Estevan Bruins in the final when they host Game 4 on Saturday. Just for referance, the Manitoba Junior Hockey League hasn’t completed the first round of their playoffs yet.
