REGINA, SK – The Bombers are awake now.
Keefe Gruener and Liam Hunks both counted multi-point outings and the Flin Flon Bombers cruised past the Weyburn Red Wings 6-1 in Game 5 Saturday.
It was the second game in a row the Wings failed to eliminate the Bombers, as the series now sits at 3-2 Weyburn.
Gruener now has three goals and five points in the last two games.
The defeat was Weyburn’s first road loss of the post-season.
The scene shifts back south for Game 6 Monday.
