REGINA, SK – Flin Flon Bombers’ netminder Charlie Tritt has been named a finalist for the CJHL Top Goaltender Award, the league announced Thursday.
Tritt, 21, posted a 23-9-2 record, a 2.12 goals-against average and a .934 save percentage in 34 regular-season appearances this past year, split between the Humboldt Broncos and the Bombers.
He then earned a record of 11-3-0 in 14 post-season contests en route to helping Flin Flon to the Canterra Seeds Cup title. Tritt was almost unbeatable in the UPL SJHL Playoffs, posting a 1.67 goals-against average and a .938 save percentage.
Tritt is committed to Lake Superior State University, an NCAA Division I school in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan.
He was also named the SaskTel SJHL Goaltender of the Year this past campaign.
A native of Vancouver, BC, Tritt has appeared in 107 regular-season junior games and 22 post-season contests, split among the BCHL, NAHL, PIJHL, and SJHL.
He was originally signed in 2022 by the Junior B North Vancouver Wolf Pack out of the Burnaby Winter Club of the CSSHL.
Tritt was acquired by the Broncos last off-season from the Chippewa Steel of the NAHL, and then by the Bombers at the Jan. 10 CJHL Trade Deadline.
He now looks to backstop the Bombers to the 2026 Centennial Cup National Junior A title in Prince Edward Island, starting on May 7.

TORONTO – The Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) announced Thursday the finalists for its Top Goaltender Award for the 2025-26 campaign.
Each of the finalists were determined through a voting process completed by the CJHL’s nine-member leagues, for their respective efforts during the course of the regular season.
The following are the five nominees for CJHL Top Goaltender honours:
Mathis Lacroix-Goulet, (G) Collège Français de Longueuil (LHJAAAQ): Played a key role in Collège Français’ solid campaign. … Lacroix-Goulet led the way in nearly every goaltending category, including wins; GAA; SV% and shutouts. … Had a record of 28-5-0-1, along with a goals-against average of 2.06 and .918 save percentage… His shutout totals were just one off the league record. … The team completed the regular season with a league-best 41-6-0-1 record. … With Lacroix-Goulet between the pipes for 34 of the team’s 48 regular season games, the club allowed the fewest goals-against at 103. … Established a LHJAAAQ mark for most wins to the start of a season with 17 straight victories. … Only allowed 70 goals in 2,039 minutes in net. … Was named CJHL’s 1st Star for October, going 7-0 and sporting a 1.58 goals-against average and a .930 save percentage, while posting one shutout. … Since joining the LHJAAAQ as a 16-year-old back in 2021-22, he had 103 wins against just 30 defeats with 11 shutouts.

Rylan Donovan, Kemptville 73s (CCHL): The 2005-born Donovan led the CCHL with 25 wins and recorded a CCHL-best seven shutouts. … While playing a league-high 2,137 minutes, his 2.22 goals-against average was second best in the league. … Donovan had a .917 save percentage, which ranked sixth in the league. … Recorded back-to-back shutouts on two separate occasions and had a nine-game win streak at one point, helping Kemptville finish fourth overall in the CCHL standings and qualify for the playoffs. … His efforts aided in the 73’s posting a better record in each year he was with the team. … Donovan was named a weekly star twice, earned Goalkeeper of the Month honours once and was later awarded CCHL Top Goaltender of the Year honours.

Tre Altiman, Leamington Flyers (OJHL): Altiman, a three-time Goaltender of the Month this season, ranked among the top goaltenders in the OJHL during the 2025-26 season. … In all, the 20-year-old from Chatham, Ont., had a 1.78 goals-against average, ranking second amongst all netminders. … Had a record of 27-8-0, a .942 save percentage and a league-best seven shutouts in 37 appearances. … His save mark tied him for top spot in the OJHL. … Altiman was named 1st Star of the Month in the CJHL for February and has competed in multiple All-Star events as well as the OJHL’s 20-year-old Showcase in 2026.

Austin Dubinsky, Niverville Nighthawks (MJHL): The 20-year-old netminder was stellar in the Nighthawks net all season long where he led them to the best record in the league. … Earned the Ed Belfour Top Goaltender award as the MJHL’s best goaltender. … In 39 starts this season, Dubinsky posted a 34-3-1 record to go along with a 2.18 goals-against average and a.931 save percentage. … Dubinsky finished first in the league in wins, was third in goals-against average and sat second in save percentage in 2,336 minutes of game action. … Did not suffer a defeat in consecutive contests all season and had winning streaks of seven games, or higher, on three occasions.
