REGINA, SK – Marik Mamic notched his third two-goal game in a row, and the Humboldt Broncos withstood the Notre Dame Hounds rally and took a 5-3 decision Thursday.

Humboldt is now unbeaten in five games in regulation, with four wins over that span.

Similarly, in the Battlefords, Melville saw a 3-0 lead disappear before Wesley Golden’s first SJHL goal in the third period proved the winner as the Millionaires downed the North Stars 5-3.

North Stars’ forward Nikita Ivaschenko scored a goal in this, his first game back from winning the IIHF Division IB World U20 Hockey Championships with his native Ukraine.
