BRONCOS SWEEP HOME AND HOME WITH YORKTON

The trio of Jaxon Joseph, Conner Lukan and Logan Schatz combined for four goals and 11 points as the Humboldt Broncos rolled to their second lopsided win over the Yorkton Terriers in as many nights, 7-2 on Sunday evening.

Joseph (2g-2a) and Lukan (2g-1a) scored twice each while Schatz picked up assists on all four of those goals, and had seven assists during the weekend home and home, boosting his totals to 40 points (11g-29a) in 29-games.

Derek Patter, Brayden Camrud and Layne Matechuk also picked up goals for the Broncos (16-9-2-2) on Sunday, while Parker Tobin made 23/25 saves in his first SJHL start.  Jacob Wassermann is away at Canada West tryouts in Calgary this weekend, along with eight other SJHL hopefuls.

Cody Bruchkowski and Josh Bryant picked up the goals for the Terriers (5-21-2-0).
