Another pair of games Wednesday night in the SJHL, as the Estevan Bruins locked up the Viterra division despite a loss in regulation to the Melville Millionaires, and that’s because the Weyburn Red Wings lost in regulation up in Humboldt. Highlights from both games can be found below.

With Weyburn’s loss Wednesday night, they are now locked into the 8th seed and will meet the Battlefords North Stars in the first round of the playoffs. Meanwhile, the Humboldt Broncos leapfrogged the Flin Flon Bombers for 2nd and still have a game in hand. Estevan will finish either 6th or 7th depending on how their last game of the regular season goes and how the Nipawin Hawks do in their final game.
There is one game Thursday night, but it will have no impact on playoff positioning, as they Weyburn Red Wings host the Notre Dame Hounds. Puck drop is at 7pm.
