BRUINS START TRIP WITH WIN

The Estevan Bruins opened up a four games in five nights road swing, with a 4-1 victory in Kindersley on Tuesday night.  Their road trip starts, and ends in Kindersley, as they head to Humboldt Wednesday, Battlefords Friday, and back to Kindersley on Saturday.

Keenan Rancier was the number one star on Tuesday, making 40/41 saves in goal for the Bruins (8-10-2-1).

Isaiah Thomas led the way offensively with a pair of goals, while Eddie Gallagher and CJ Corazzin added the others.  The Bruins scored three times during a 2:08 span in the middle of the second period.

Brendon Borbely spoiled Rancier’s shutout, scoring a late third period powerplay goal for the Klippers (8-14-2-1).
