After three phenomenal seasons with the Yorkton Terriers, and four more in the NCAA Division I ranks at Rochester Institute of Technology, defenseman Chase Norrish has gone pro, signing an Amateur Tryout Agreement with the ECHL’s Colorado Eagles. The 24-year-old played 128 college games at RIT, putting up 19-goals and 67-points. He won back to back Canalta Cup Championships in Yorkton, including the RBC Cup in 2013-2014, his final year, when he was named Team MVP, after amassing a career-best 9-goals and 45-points in 56-games. He debuted with the Eagles on March 7th. One of his new teammates is Jesse Mychan (Flin Flon / Kindersley). Michael Young (Flin Flon) is in the same league with the Norfolk Admirals.
