The Government of Saskatchewan has announced an end to all COVID-19 public health orders, effective February 28, 2022.
With the announcement, the Saskatchewan Jr Hockey League (SJHL) announces that any regulations put into place from the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic are no longer in effect as of today.
To ensure your safety the SJHL recommends that you visit the Government of Saskatchewan’s COVID-19 page for the most up to date information and best practices.
The SJHL asks you to be respectful of some people’s decisions on maintaining some of the health protocols during this time of transition of returning to normal and returning to the hockey arenas.
The SJHL would ask that you make yourself aware of any local municipality or facility restrictions that maybe in place. The SJHL recommends that you contact the facility you are attending in order to determine if items such as face coverings may still be required.
The SJHL would like to take this opportunity to thank all the fans, volunteers, players, coaches, and officials, who have been patient during the past two years.
The SJHL wishes all the teams and communities’ good luck for the remainder of the season, stay safe and healthy.
