By Notre Dame Hounds

The Notre Dame Hounds (SJHL), are pleased to announce that Adam Dawe (’99), has been selected to participate in the 2017 CJHL Prospects game.

The Canadian Junior Hockey League, in partnership with the National Hockey League and in conjunction with NHL Central Scouting announced Tuesday the rosters for the upcoming CJHL Prospects Game, which will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at 7:30 p.m. ET in Cornwall, Ont., at Ed Lumley Arena within the confines of the Cornwall Civic Complex.

Dawe (13 goals, 29 assists) is currently tied for 4th in SJHL scoring and is the top scoring rookie in the league. The University of Maine commit has had a great start to the season and being selected to play in this game is a testament to his play.

“This is a nice honour for Adam and it shows that he has been opening some more eyes in the hockey world with his play. He competes at a high level every night”, said Notre Dame Hounds Head Coach and GM Clint Mylymok. “Adam is talented, but in order to compete at a high level you need the “intangibles” and Adam possesses many of them. He is only going to get better because of his desire and passion for the game”.

Each of the players chosen to participate in the CJHL Prospects Game were selected through the efforts of NHL Central Scouting and are currently among the top 40 CJHL prospects heading into the 2017 NHL Draft in Chicago.
