SGEU MVP of the Month: Callas Pierce, Weyburn Red Wings

Pierce made the most of every opportunity in December, emerging as the offensive catalyst for a Red Wings group that leaned heavily on his ability to produce in key moments. The forward was consistently dangerous off the rush and around the net, showing a scorer’s touch that helped Weyburn stay competitive through a condensed month. His blend of pace, confidence, and finishing ability stood out league-wide.

Bourgault Forward of the Month: Gabriel Courchesne, Yorkton Terriers

Courchesne picked up right where he left off, continuing to drive Yorkton’s offence with his trademark speed and creativity. In just five games, he was a difference-maker nearly every night, generating chances both at even strength and on the power play. His ability to control play through the neutral zone and attack defenders head-on makes him one of the most dynamic forwards in the SJHL.

SuperU Defenceman of the Month: Pherson Loehndorf, Warman Wolverines

Loehndorf was the steady presence on the back end that Warman relied on throughout December. He moved pucks efficiently, contributed offensively, and logged big minutes in all situations. His six assists reflect his ability to activate and support the attack, while his overall game continues to mature into that of a reliable, two-way defenceman

SaskTel Goalie of the Month: Callum Creig, Yorkton Terriers

Craig delivered calm, confident performances in the crease, helping Yorkton secure points every time he appeared. His numbers speak to a goaltender in control of his game, tracking pucks well and making timely saves when the Terriers needed them most. The Terriers were hot in December, and Creig was a big reason why.

Month Stats: 3-0-0-1 – 2.23 GAA, .934 SV%


SaskMilk Rookie of the Month: Finlay Klippenstein, Battlefords North Stars

Klippenstein continued to show why he is one of the most exciting young scorers in the league. The rookie finished December with a goal per game, consistently finding space and capitalizing on scoring chances. His offensive instincts and willingness to attack the middle of the ice have made him as good a story as any in the league this year.

Canterra Seeds Saskatchewan Player of the Month: Connor Miller, Humboldt Broncos

Miller’s December was defined by consistency and impact. The Humboldt forward produced in all situations, contributing on offence while also handling the responsibilities that come with playing against the opponent’s top line. His ability to make plays under pressure and elevate those around him continues to be an important part of the Broncos’ lineup.
