The University of Jamestown, based in Jamestown, North Dakota, plays in the ACHA.

Christensson, 20 joined the Ice Wolves this year and has added to the team’s depth at Center. He has impressed Ice Wolves’ Head Coach/GM Kevin Kaminski throughout this season.

“Congrats to ‘Sarge’ on his commitment to the Jamestown Jimmies – they are excited to have him!” Kaminski said. “He brings leadership, ultimate work ethic, has great speed, is an excellent penalty killer, sacrifices his body, and chips in offensively! Just a very solid 200-foot hockey player – he brings 110% everyday and is very professional about it.”

Kole is very excited about this opportunity and said, “Over my past 4 years of junior it has been a blast, and for me to finish it in La Ronge has been a blessing especially under a great coaching staff. They have given me all the tools to be successful and move on to the next level. I’m super excited to become a Jimmie and continue my hockey career for the University of Jamestown.”

Christensson will Major in Communications at the University of Jamestown. The Ice Wolves’ organization wishes him nothing but success in his future!
