The Yorkton Terriers are pleased to announce that 20-year-old forward and co-captain Kishaun Gervais has committed to the Lakehead University Thunderwolves, who play in the OUA West Conference at the Usport level.

Lakehead University is located in Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Kishaun is from Keeseekoose First Nation, SK and is playing in his 2nd year with the Terriers and 4th year of junior hockey.

He first played with the Terriers during his 17 years old season, putting up 19 points in 43 games, before then joining the Portland Winterhawks of the Western Hockey League for the next two seasons. Over 50 games played in the WHL, Gervais put up 19 points.
Kishaun returned to Yorkton this season as a 20-year-old to close out his junior hockey career with the Terriers. While leading his team on the ice as a co-captain, he also led the team in points with 43 in 47 games played.

On behalf of the Terriers organization, we would like to congratulate Kishaun and his family on this accomplishment and wish him continued success both academically and athletically while attending Lakehead University.
