The weekend kicked off with 4 games Friday night in the SJHL, with some big results from some of the top teams in the league. Highlight’s from Friday night’s action can be found below.

Despite 13 days off, the top team in the SJHL and CJHL didn’t miss a beat in their return to action Friday night at the Access Communications Centre as they earned a 6-1 win over the visiting Notre Dame Hounds. The top line led the way for the Stars once again as Holden Doell had 2 goals and an assist, Captain Jake Southgate picked up 3 assists, and Kian Bell registered a goal and an assist. Justen Maric was solid in between the pipes for the Stars as well, making 34 saves in the victory which improves their record to 21-0-2-1 on the season.
It will be an even busier night Saturday with my games slated across the SJHL.
