CAMROSE, AB – Ryder Mucha led the way with two goals in his return to the Bombers’ line-up, and Flin Flon improved to 14-0 at home this season with a commanding 5-1 victory over the Melfort Mustangs.
Devin Peck made 25 saves in the win, while Jack Martin was the game-high scorer with three assists on the night.
Logan Peskett had the response for Melfort.
Elsewhere in Yorkton, Thomas Ries’ third-period marker held up as the winner as the Terriers edged the Melville Millionaires 3-2 in the first Highway 10 rivalry tilt of the year.
Callum Creig made 34 stops and has now won six of his last seven starts.
Rookie Cash Lanigan had a goal and an assist in Yorkton’s win.
