REGINA, SK – Carter Anderson scored twice as the Bombers dominated the Melfort Mustangs 6-2 in Flin Flon on a busy Friday night around the SJHL.

It was the league’s first action since the recently completed Western All-Star Showcase in Warman and the Bombers’ first game since losing to the Mustangs in Melfort on Oct. 30.

At Affinity Place, the Estevan Bruins withheld a furious Melville rally to beat the Millionaires 5-3 in a Viterra Division clash. SJHL rookie points leader Luke Hogan led the way with two goals in the win.

The Yorkton Terriers won their fourth in a row in the Battlefords, scoring five times in the third period en route to a 7-2 win over the North Stars. Dustin Renas’ three-point night means he has three multi-point outings in his last six contests.

Finally, in La Ronge, the Ice Wolves outlasted Notre Dame, with rookie Taite Donkin scoring the winner in tight at the 5:35 mark of the third period to earn the hosts a 3-1 win over the Hounds.
