FRIDAY RECAP: Bruins rally; Bombers, Mustangs stay hot

ESTEVAN, SK – The Estevan Bruins scored four times in the third period, including twice on the power play, to rally late and down the Melville Millionaires 5-3 on a busy Friday in the league.

Brady Wilson and Ewan Rennie led the way for Estevan with two goals each, while Edward Knittig notched a pair of points for the Millionaires.

In Melfort, the defending champions rallied from down two and got the winner from Zac Somers at the 1:25 mark of the third en route to a 3-2 win over the Humboldt Broncos.

It was Melfort’s 11th win in a row.
