KINDERSLEY, SK – Dazza Mitchell made 32 stops, and Marik Mamic notched the winner at the 7:25 mark of the first period as the Humboldt Broncos held on to down the Kindersley Klippers 3-1 at the SaskTel Game of the Month Friday.
It was the Broncos’ sixth victory in a row.
Taite Donkin and Owen Turner had two-point nights, Logan Falk made 26 saves in the win, and the La Ronge Ice Wolves outlasted the Weyburn Red Wings 4-2 at the Mel Hegland Uniplex.
In Flin Flon, Ryder Ringor notched the hat trick in a four-point night as the Bombers cruised past the Estevan Bruins 5-2 at the Whitney Forum.
Finally, the Melfort Mustangs got six different goalscorers en route to a 6-0 victory over the Nipawin Hawks.
Madden Mulawka made 14 saves en route to his first career SJHL shutout.
