REGINA, SK – Bo Eisner scored twice from the blue line and the Melfort Mustangs cruised past the La Ronge Ice Wolves 6-1 on Friday to jump into sixth place.

Eisner extended his point streak to seven games, posting 12 points over that span.

Jack McHarg also added a pair of goals on the night, while Noel Englot also had a pair of helpers.

Melfort benefited from the fact that every other team from 7th to 12th lost on the night.

In Nipawin, Finley Radloff scored 12 seconds into overtime as the Nipawin Hawks rallied past the Estevan Bruins 3-2.

Raydr Wallington was the game-high scorer with three assists, while Colten Scott made 37 stops in the win.

Gabriel Courchesne extended his league game-winning-goal lead with his seventh of the year, and Callum Creig stopped all 34 shots he faced en route to a 3-0 Yorkton Terriers victory over the Humboldt Broncos.

Creig moved into 10th all-time on the Yorkton Terriers’ goalie win list, and leads the league in that category this season with 23 wins in 35 appearances.

Jye Zawatsky also notched his league-leading 41st assist on Courchesne’s goal.

Joey Rocha was stellar in making 41 saves to backstop the Weyburn Red Wings to a 4-1 win vs. the Kindersley Klippers.

Sawyer Aquila’s second goal of the year and first since early October held up as the winner, while Josh Sale’s first-period marker means the veteran forward has goals in five games in a row.

The Flin Flon Bombers’ quest for a perfect home season continued as they improved to 21-0 at the Whitney Forum with a 4-1 victory over the Melville Millionaires.

Finn Werner improved to 12-1 on the campaign in net for the Bombers, while Matt Spencer-Dahl shone in defeat, making 47 stops.

Maverick Deslisle scored the winning goal for Flin Flon in the first period.

Finally, in Battlefords, Spencer Michnik stopped all 37 shots he faced en route to his first SJHL shutout in a 4-0 North Stars win over the Warman Wolverines.

Josh Knittig led the way offensively with a goal and an assist, including the game-winner 7:34 into the opening frame.
