Humboldt, SK. – Goalie Garrett Mason has committed to Trinity Western University in Langley B.C.
Graduated Mason played 49 games in the SJHL, all with the Broncos, winning 25 of those games posting a 0.919 save percentage. “Mason was a work horse for us and provided us with quality goaltending this year,” said Head Coach Darcy Haugan, “We are extremely excited that he will be attending Trinity Western this year.”
Mason is not the first Bronco to make the move to B.C. Mason will be joining Humboldt native Jarrett Fontaine as a Trinity Western Spartan.
“With our all-star goalie graduating this year we knew we had some big shoes to fill. In the SJHL we knew there were two coveted goalies up for grabs in Stead and Mason. We zeroed in on Garrett to be our guy,” stated Trinity Western Spartans Head Coach Barret Kropf, “In watching Mason this year, he has given the Broncos a chance to win every night. His stats are very impressive and his character and leadership are what we are looking for in Spartans. We are excited to be adding him into our program.”
