THORNHILL, ONT – Nipawin Hawks forward Carter Anderson has committed to the University of Alberta at Augustana for the 2026-27 ACAC campaign.
Anderson, 20, played in 106 regular-season and six postseason SJHL games, all for the Hawks.
The Calgary native also played for his hometown Canucks in the Alberta Junior Hockey League and at the 2024 Centennial Cup in Oakville, ON.
Anderson posted 30 goals and 59 regular-season points for Nipawin over the last two seasons, and added two playoff assists this campaign.
Augustana, based in Camrose, AB, featured 11 SJHL alums on its roster this past season and hosted the 2026 Viking Cup, in which Team SJHL took home the Gold Medal.
