Hawks stun Mils, end their win streak

REGINA, SK – Jack Schierau led the way with two goals and an assist, and Gage Roberts made 31 stops as the Nipawin Hawks edged the Melville Millionaires 4-3 Tuesday, ending their 11-game win streak.

The Hawks have now won six of their last seven games.

In Wilcox, the Weyburn Red Wings were relentless in earning the most lop-sided victory in the league this year to date, hammering the Hounds 12-0.

Lucas Schmid posted his second career hat trick and added five points overall, while Angelo Zol recorded his league-leading fifth shutout of the campaign.
