CAMROSE, AB – Tylan Henrikson tied the Gold-Medal Game at four with 14.4 seconds remaining in regulation, and Ethan Andrews won it in overtime as Team SJHL took the Viking Cup championship with a 5-4 victory over the SAIT Trojans.
Anthony Campbell started the comeback by tipping home Rylan Williams third period wrister.
Russ Demo and Gavin Granger also added goals for Team SJHL, while SJHL alums Colby Bear and Owen Underhill had goals for SAIT.
Team SJHL becomes the first team to win the Viking Cup in 20 years.
Brady Holtvogt made 26 stops in the win.
