The 2023-2024 SJHL regular season begins this Friday and we continue our look around the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League with a look at the Humboldt Broncos.
It was another big year in Humboldt in 22/23, as the club finished 2nd in the SJHL with a 40-15-1-0 record.
After knocking off the Nipawin Hawks in five games in the opening round, the Broncos would be eliminated in the semi-finals by the Flin Flon Bombers.
There will be plenty of fresh faces in Humboldt this year, but also a solid core of returning players to help lead the green and gold.
SJHL Director of Media Jeromy Corrigan sat down with Head Coach and General Manager of the Humboldt Broncos Scott Barney ahead of the 23/24 season and got his thoughts on the upcoming year.
