Finishing seventh – as they did last season – is not the norm for the high standards of the Broncos’ faithful, and given the depth of the roster Coach Brayden Klimosko is bringing back, the expectation is that it was an aberration.
Still, they gave Flin Flon a tough time in Round 1 last year, and the physical toll they dealt to the mighty Bombers might have played a role (on top of Weyburn’s great play) in the Red Wings’ Round 2 victory over the Manitobans.
In Jacob Strizzi, Connor Miller, and Oakley McIlwain, the Broncos have an argument that they possess the two best forwards and defenceman, respectively, in the SJHL, and have a very strong corps of returners around them.
This is also Klimosko’s first real chance to make this team his own, as he took over in the middle of the summer last year from the departed Scott Barney.
Let’s take a look at some key numbers from the last regular season for the Broncos:

SJHL Co-Director of Media Clark Munroe sat down with Head Coach and General Manager Brayden Klimosko in the SCSA Coaches’ Show ahead of the 25/26 season and got his thoughts on the upcoming year.
