Daylon Mannon scored two goals and added one assist, moving into a tie for the SJHL scoring lead Tuesday, while leading the La Ronge Ice Wolves to a 5-0 shutout win in Notre Dame.
Liam McGarva made 22 saves for his first shutout in the SJHL, in what was the Ice Wolves’ first shutout victory since January 21, 2016 when Kris Joyce made 33 saves in a 3-0 win in Kindersley. Dakota Kenyon also had a shutout that season, a 5-0 win against Yorkton on November 14, 2015.
Zach Bannister, Grady Birk and Kyle Ford scored first period goals for the Ice Wolves (4-7-0-0), before Mannon added his in the second and third periods.
Riley Kohonick made 22/27 saves in goal for the Hounds (4-6-1-0).
