La Ronge Ice Wolves forward Brett Boucher has committed to play for the Albertus Magnus Falcons of NCAA Division III hockey next year.

Boucher, 20, split his 44 Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League games this campaign between the Wolves and the Battlefords North Stars and posted six goals and 25 points over that span.

A native of Fort McMurray, AB, he played in 96 contests for his hometown Oil Barons of the Alberta Junior Hockey League before moving to Saskatchewan this past off-season.

Albertus Magnus College is located in New Haven, CT, and the men’s hockey program plays in the New England Hockey Conference.

SJHL alumni Sam Witt was on their roster a year ago.

Congratulations Brett!
