La Ronge Ice Wolves’ hybrid forward and defenceman Alex Mack has committed to the Red Deer Polytechnic Kings for the 2025-26 ACAC campaign.
Mack recently wrapped up his junior career appearing in 50 regular season games between the La Ronge Ice Wolves and the Kindersley Klippers. He posted 11 goals and 3 assists from the back end, showcasing his versatility in both stops.
Over the course of his junior career, Mack saw action with several programs. In addition to his time with the Ice Wolves and Klippers, he also skated for the Melfort Mustangs, the Drayton Valley Thunder of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL), and had a stint in the Western Hockey League (WHL) with the Prince Albert Raiders.
The Kings have won the last three ACAC titles, with rosters full of SJHL alumni.
