La Ronge Ice Wolves forward Cole Thomas has committed to Middlebury College of NCAA Division III for the 2025-26 New England Small College Athletic Conference.
Thomas, 20, hails from Calgary, AB, and posted 65 points over 146 career Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League games, all for the Ice Wolves.
A two-way centreman, Thomas led the SJHL in 2024-25 in face-offs taken (1,233) and was second in face-offs won (655) throughout the regular season.
“I’m very excited to announce my commitment to continue my hockey career, development and education at Middlebury College. I’d like to thank my family, coaches, teammates and the entire La Ronge ice wolves organization for helping me achieve this goal,” he said to La Ronge social media.
Thomas joined the Wolves in the 2022-23 season out of Prairie Hockey Academy U18 of the CSSHL.
