REGINA, SK – La Ronge Ice Wolves forward David Vitt has committed to Maryville University for the 2026-27 American Collegiate Hockey Association campaign.
Vitt, 21, scored seven goals and 18 points in 71 SJHL contests, all for the Wolves, and played in 21 contests in an injury-shortened 2025-26 season.
He returns home to play college hockey in the suburbs just west of St. Louis, MO, as he hails from nearby Kirkwood, MO.
Vitt split his youth hockey career between Kirkwood High in Missouri and the St. Louis AAA Blues system.
He scored four goals and six points in five games at the premier 2023 Mac’s U18AAA Tournament in Calgary, AB.
Melville Millionaires alum Easton Debray, former Battlefords North Star Timon Prexler, ex-Notre Dame Hound Connor O’Keefe and Nipawin Hawks alum Vito Biondo all played for Maryville last year.
