The Battlefords North Stars Junior A Hockey Club of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League are seeking a Head Coach and General Manager.
Requirements:
• Coach and mentor players
• Scouting and player recruitment
• Organize practice, game and season plans for on and off-ice requirements
• On ice coaching and player development
• Video analysis and game-footage breakdown
• Managing all aspects of the hockey operations of the team
• Administration duties as assigned by the president and board
• Detail oriented with great organizational skills
• Travel and manage team scheduled games and off-ice activities
• Promotion and advancement of Players and Staff
Qualifications:
• Playing experience and coaching experience
• Recruitment experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability and desire to work evenings, weekends, holidays and long hours
• Well organized and great time management skills
• Motivated and goal orientated
• Canadian Citizen
Compensation: Salary based on experience, knowledge and qualifications
