Kindersley Klippers forward Mason Bueckert has committed to Red Deer Polytechnic for the 2025-26 Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference campaign.
Bueckert, 20, spent the greater part of four Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League seasons between the La Ronge Ice Wolves and Klippers between 2021 and 2025.
Over that span, the Saskatoon-born forward posted 124 points in 157 contests.
All but 26 of his SJHL games were with the Ice Wolves, who selected him first overall in the 2019 SJHL Draft.
Bueckert was acquired by the Klippers at the Jan. 10 trade deadline this past campaign.
Red Deer Polytechnic has won the last three ACAC championships, and had 14 SJHL alumni in the line-up when they won their latest title on March 21, 2025.
