Klippers Name New Assistant Coach

By Kindersley Klippers

The Iron Horse Kindersley Klippers have rounded out their bench staff by naming Larry Wintoneak Assistant Coach.  Larry has been with the Klippers for the past two seasons as the Strength and Conditioning Coach, and will continue those duties as well as taking on the Assistant Coach position.

SJHL and Klipper fans should recognize the name as Larry is a long time coaching veteran, with previous Head Coach/GM stops in Flin Flon, La Ronge, and with the Klippers from 2006 to 2010.

“Larry has been part of my staff since I took the job in Kindersley”, noted GM/Head Coach Geoff Grimwood. “It made a lot of sense to us to expand his role, and have Larry become the full time Assistant Coach.  He brings a tremendous amount of experience to our bench. The players love him, the players respect him, and he is going to make us a better team.  It’s a big addition and I couldn’t be happier to have Larry on board”.
