The Kindersley Klippers got back in the win column Sunday afternoon in Wilcox against the Notre Dame Hounds and wrapped up a stretch of five games in six days with seven out of a possible ten points.
The major reason the Klippers earned two points on the road Sunday was their power-play.
Kindersley found the back of the net four times on the man advantage, including two from Assistant Captain Tylin Hilbig. Keenan Ingram potted the game winner on the power-play early in the 3rd period and it capped off a nine point week for the Calgary product.
With the win, the Klippers will go into the new week in a playoff spot as they vault over the Estevan Bruins into 8th.
Monday will be an off night in the league, but it won’t be an off day off the ice as an all new episode of SJHL Weekly will air live across the SJHL social media channels at 1:30 pm.
The action on the ice will resume Tuesday when the Nipawin Hawks visit the Melville Millionaires and the Weyburn Red Wings host the Humboldt Broncos.
