The Iron Horse Kindersley Klippers are proud to announce that Captain Kyler Smith has committed to playing U Sports hockey at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, next season.

Smith has spent his entire junior career in Kindersley, totaling 153 games, where he has recorded 6 goals and 27 assists for 33 points. This season, he has scored 4 goals and added 14 assists.

Head Coach and GM Clayton Jardine on Smith’s commitment:
“Kyler has been a staple on the back end in Kindersley for three seasons. We are very excited to see him continue his post-secondary career at Dalhousie. He is a leader on and off the ice, and he will be missed in the locker room at the end of this season.”

The Dalhousie Tigers compete in the AUS conference of U Sports.

The Klippers organization wishes Kyler nothing but the best moving forward.
