The Nipawin Hawks are very excited to announce that Kristian Stead has accepted a scholarship from the University of Alaska-Anchorage and will play for their hockey team the Seawolves. The Seawolves play in the WCHA and also have former Hawk, Tad Kozun on their roster. Kristian has been an outstanding player for the Nipawin Hawks and an even better citizen. His work ethic, drive and will to win have helped the Hawks achieve great success the past two years and will be counted upon for the Hawks to have a deep playoff run. We wish nothing but the best for Kristian and know that he will do everything in his power to make the Seawolves as strong as possible in his years donning their jersey and attending their school. “Steader” at this time does not know what he will Major in but is looking forward to the next challenge in his athletic and academic career. Congratulations Kristian from everyone in the Nipawin Hawks organization.
