REGINA, SK – Cash Lanigan potted home a neat breakaway finish in overtime and Yorkton held off La Ronge’s rally in a 4-3 Terriers’ win over the Ice Wolves Wednesday.
Callum Creig picked up his league-high 24th win in net for Yorkton, while Riley Zezel impressed in making 36 stops in defeat.
Ice Wolves’ forward Evan Cook was the game-high scorer with three assists, while defenceman Gavin Bartha’s two points led the way for the Terriers.
The victory broke the tie between Yorkton and Nipawin for third place, with the Terriers now two points ahead of the Hawks.
