Melville Millionaires’ defenceman Colby Ball has committed to the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology of the Alberta Collegiate Athletic Conference for the 2024-2025 campaign.

Ball, 20, hails from Sherwood Park, AB, and spent all 152 games of his Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League career with the Mils between 2021-2024.

He made the Millionaires in 2021 out of the Sherwood Park Kings U18AAA of Alberta U18 AAA hockey.

He joins Melville captain Payton Kostyshyn, Melfort forward Hayden Prosofsky, and Yorkton centreman Brett Butz as SJHL commits to SAIT thus far this off-season.

An offensively gifted blueliner, Ball posted 80 points over his career with the Moneymen.
