REGINA, SK – Melville Millionaires captain Boston Harkness has committed to the University of Regina of USports for the 2026-27 CanadaWest campaign.
Harkness, 20, posted 95 points in 223 SJHL regular-season games and added five points in 14 post-season contests, all for the Mils.
The 6-foot-3, 209 pound defenceman hails from White City, SK, and was named the 2026 Canterra Seeds SJHL Saskatchewan Player of the Year and an SJHL First-Team All Star.
This past season, he scored 10 goals and 48 points in 54 games to finish tied for the league lead in scoring among defencemen.
He was also a part of Team SJHL’s gold-medal-winning squad at the 2026 Viking Cup this past holiday season in Camrose, AB.
Harkness was selected in the third round, 32nd overall, in the 2020 SJHL Draft out of the Prairie Storm U15AA.
He joins fellow current SJHLers Rylan Pearce (Weyburn) and Noah Asmundson (Estevan) as recent Regina commits.
