REGINA, SK – Melville Millionaires defenceman Wesley Golden has committed to Ontario Tech University of USports for the 2026-27 Ontario University Athletics campaign.
Golden, 20, posted 12 points and 125 penalty minutes in 69 regular-season contests over two seasons for the Millionaires. He added a goal and 16 penalty minutes in 11 postseason games in that span.
A native of Grande Prairie, AB, the rugged 6-foot-5, 216-pounder played in 196 junior games over his career, split between the Alberta Junior Hockey League, British Columbia Hockey League, and the SJHL.
He also featured in 16 total playoff contests.
Ontario Tech University, located in Oshawa, ON, about an hour east of Toronto, has also committed to Estevan Bruins alum Ben Wright for next season, and had two SJHL alums on their roster last year.
