REGINA, SK – For the first time since the 2004-05 season, the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League semifinals will feature two Game 7s to determine the spots in the championship round.

In Weyburn, Josh Sale led the way with three goals and an assist as the Red Wings downed the Flin Flon Bombers 5-1 in Game 6.

Rylan Pearce also added a pair of helpers for his second multi-point game in three contests, while Joey Rocha was outstanding in making 31 stops in the win that evened the series up at three games apiece.

Charlie Tritt made 27 saves in the loss.

The Yorkton Terriers scored five straight goals from the 6:39 mark of the second period on en route to a 6-3 Game 6 win in North Battleford over the North Stars.

Tylan Henrikson was the game-high scorer with two goals and an assist in the win, while Alessio Nardelli replied with a pair of goals for the hosts.

Five different Terriers had multi-point nights, as Yorkton earned a Game 7 on home ice for the first time since 2010.

Both Battlefords and Yorkton were involved in those ’04-05 Game 7s and won against their respective foes. The Terriers ultimately won that championship vs. the North Stars, also in seven games.
